The long-standing sports bar Magoos will be celebrating its 50th anniversary Dec. 11.

Owner Jim Eastridge will be on hand from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a special happy hour, light refreshments and a $25 prize for whoever has the oldest piece of Magoos gear.

"I called a lot of old friends and customers to have them come by," Eastridge said.

With the oldest Magoo merchandise/gear contest, Eastridge is hoping to find one particular design from years back that he realized he didn't have in his collection.
